Seeding and Learning from Innovative School Models

CITEL facilitates a Community of Practice for technical assistance providers and their school system partners who are seeding innovation that merges HQIM implementation with team-based staffing models. . Each pilot strives to ensure all students experience exceptional, HQIM-aligned teaching and strong, affirming relationships with their educators.

CITEL works with K-12 leaders to fund, support and create favorable conditions for innovations that integrate:

  • Consistently excellent implementation of HQIM, backed by curriculum-based, HQPL. 

  • Team-based staffing models that prioritize collaboration over isolation, leverage the expertise of highly effective teacher leaders, and reflect the diversity of American students.
  • Strategic use of technology, including generative AI, improves student and educator experiences and outcomes.
